WE ONLY HAVE ONE PLANET

We care about the environment and we know you do too.  Our corn-based, biodegradable packaging treads lightly on our planet.  Natural Kraft paper with a wood pulp-based barrier layer and majority (~80%) plant-based renewable seal layer that is compostable. The entire material has passed ASTM D6868 testing and has received verification as compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI).  It can be disposed in curbside composting bins, if available. If local regulations do not allow this, home composting is feasible, however it is not certified for this disposal method and, depending on the compost’s conditions, may take longer to disintegrate than other organic materials like food or yard waste.

Our bags are not resealable, because we haven’t found a closure that is also compostable (yet!)  What a great excuse to buy a beautiful canister to keep your coffee in!

Guard the goods. Oxygen makes coffee stale and robs your brew of its full potential. Atmos banishes air, moisture, and odours to stop your beans from aging out before you’ve enjoyed the whole bag. The integrated vacuum pump sucks air out to prevent oxidation and extend coffee’s shelf life up to 50%. This canister is coated in matte white stainless steel for an extra layer of protection from flavour-sucking sunlight. Holds 454gr (1lb) of freshly roasted Essential Coffee.

Unlike other vacuum coffee bean canisters, an integrated vacuum pump keeps the vacuum magic all in the lid so you never have to hunt down a separate piece. Just twist the lid back and forth to remove air from the inside and watch the dot on the vacuum lock indicator drop to reveal a green ring. The vacuum is now locked to prevent oxidation and extend the shelf life of coffee and other pantry items. An airtight silicone seal stops air, moisture, odours, and other funk from seeping in. This is hands down the ultimate solution for storing your opened coffee beans.

When the contents of your Atmos are calling your name, press the easy release button to unlock and bring the air pressure back to normal.
